Rabbit and Bear sit together under a crescent moon and a sky full of stars. Surrounded by tall pines, Bear holds a softly glowing lantern between them, casting light into the quiet darkness. Rabbit listens as Bear says:
"You're allowed to change. You're allowed to learn new things and update outdated ways of thinking. In fact I encourage it," said Bear. "Don't be ashamed of saying; 'You know what, I don't think that way anymore, and here's why...'"

✨️You're Allowed to Change
There’s a strange pressure in today’s world to double down on what we once said—even when we know better now. We’ve created a culture where changing your mind is seen as weakness, not wisdom. Where people dig in rather than evolve. Where "gotcha" screenshots of decade-old views are weaponised without acknowledging growth, learning, or context.
But what if, instead, we encouraged one another to say:
“You know what, I don’t think that way anymore, and here’s why.”
That’s what Bear encourages here. To admit that we were wrong—or uninformed—is not a flaw. It’s a feature of being human. Of paying attention. Of becoming who we are meant to be, rather than who we were told to be.
In politics, in culture, in personal conversations around the dinner table—so much harm could be avoided if we made space for people to grow. And if we understood that growth sometimes means letting go of deeply ingrained beliefs, inherited bias, or misinformation.
This piece isn’t just for those already changing. It’s for those afraid to. For those worried they’ll be called hypocrites for learning out loud. For those still carrying outdated ideas because they were once rewarded for them—and now fear the fallout of unlearning them.
To you, Bear says:
You're allowed to change.
You're supposed to change.
